Deborah Schindler Wins Award

Deborah is honored to be the recipient of the 2022 Park View Artist Award during the Labor Day Art Show at Glen Echo Park (Maryland). The Award brings with it the opportunity to have a one-person show at the Park View Gallery in Glen Echo. In referring to Deborah's winning entry, "Carnival in the Garden of Eden," Juror Zoma Wallace said:

"The subject's gaze at the viewer is striking, and the contrast of black and white is equally impactful. I appreciate the types of line work, both delicate and bold with the curvilinear shapes of the animals, the trees, and the carnivalesque woman. I am interested in the garden and what it grows, much like the Garden of Earthly Delights of the Dutch master painter of the 16th century."
