Almost everything that you try to draw can roughly be broken down into two categories: Portraits and Landscapes.
Portraits capture the character of an object, usually a person, and landscapes convey an understanding of a space.
In this ALL SUPPLIES INCLUDED class, we’ll addresshow to approach both these subjects so students will feel confident drawing everything!
Syllabus
Week 1: Landscape: Composition and creating space
Week 2: Landscape: texture
Week 3: Portrait: Simplifying complex subjects
Week 4: Portrait: Angles and Anatomy

All supplies included. Students will be provided with pencils, powdered graphite, paper, and erasers.

William Demaria is a Baltimore based artist who has always loved drawing andtraditional oil painting. He finds the process of creating artwork itself to be beautiful and has always been interested in studying the way artwork is made. He believes that every student, no matter their skill level, has an individual voice that should be developed.
