Love in the Air! Let's make an Origami Valentine Wreath with Naoko Kamioka

Valentine’s Day is a time to celebrate love in all its forms—romantic love, love for family and friends, and the spirit of love and peace in our communities and the world. In this workshop, we’ll create a beautiful origami Valentine wreath adorned with paper hearts. You’ll learn how to assemble the basic origami heart wreath. If you would like, you can learn how to make heart variations to attach to the wreath or keep them as is. The wreath is perfect for decorating your home or sharing with someone special. Come enjoy a fun and heartwarming time filled with creativity, color, and love!

About Naoko

Fold Joy and Creativity!
This is the motto of Naoko Kamioka, an origami instructor and educator from Japan. Based in the DMV area, she has been teaching origami to children, youth and adults at schools/after-school programs and at various art centers, bringing joy and imagination to every fold. Her interactive approach blends origami with collage, card-making, and other crafts to spark creativity.
