Sip and Fold 1-Hour Origami Crash Workshop Part 2: Waterbomb Base with Naoko Kamioka

Friday, November 13, 2026 from 5:30 to 6:30 P.M.

This is Part 2 of One-hour Origami Crash Workshop series. In the previous workshop, we explored the Square Base and the various figures that grow from it. This time, we’ll discover the Waterbomb Base—another fundamental origami structure with endless creative possibilities.

If you learned the Square Base, you’re already halfway there! The folding sequence is almost identical, with only the beginning and ending steps changing.

What’s truly fascinating is how a single base can transform into so many different creations—a butterfly, a star, a rocket, an elegant, twisted rose, and much more. Come experience the magic of origami.

Beginners need not fear! Can master the basic base and enjoy making simple figures with your individual touch. After all, this is Origami Happy Hour—don’t worry, be happy, and keep folding!
