Rosemary Cooley in Collection at Samara House, Greenville, Delaware.
Art, Community, and Celebration at Samara House
Rosemary Cooley is honored to be part of a collection of 52 original artworks commissioned for Samara House at Stonegates in Greenville, Delaware.
The center, home to thoughtfully designed assisted-living residences, opened in spring 2026. Its name is inspired by the winged maple seed carried by the wind—a symbol of motion, meaning, and trust. At Samara House, residents are invited to feel at home among a carefully curated collection of art.
Gallerist Carla Massoni, together with artist and designer Joe Karlik, fulfilled the commission for the center near Wilmington, Delaware. Large, colorful paintings, prints, and photographs bring warmth, soul, and visual interest to the building.
On September 10, 2026, Stonegates Marketing Director Julia Drake welcomed many of the participating artists for a tour of the installed artworks, followed by a lush reception featuring cuisine prepared by Irish chef Daragh Matheson.
It was exciting for the artists to meet one another and to put faces to the work we had all seen at MassoniArt Gallery. The day was truly celebratory, and we are grateful to everyone who contributed such care and creativity to making the experience so memorable.
