Moments|Memories

William Demaria’s new exhibition, Moments/Memories, looks to record the human understanding of incomprehensible forces. Be it geologic history living in the natural landscape, human history preserved in the constructed landscape, or even quiet moments in the woods, the artwork in this show attempts to represent the landscape as it was experienced and remembered.

Instead of attempting to create artwork that represents the physical landscape as it exists, Moments/Memories strives to capture the imperfect perception of reality influenced by interests and experiences of an individual.
