“At The Seams,” large-scale collagraphs and monoprints explore the female body as a place of memory, labor, and resilience. Fiber is stitched directly into the printed surfaces, transforming traditional associations with sewing and domestic labor into symbols of strength and resistance.

These tactile elements speak to the often unseen work of women that shapes families, communities, and history. The prints invite viewers to consider the tension between expectation and reality in the female experience, celebrating the quiet power and perseverance found in everyday acts.

About the Artist:

Kristine DeNinno is an award-winning artist working primarily in experimental printmaking. She earned her graduate degree from the Corcoran College of Art & Design and developed her printmaking practice at Pyramid Atlantic. Her work has been shaped by residencies at Crown Point Press in San Francisco and the Skopelos Foundation for the Arts in Greece.

DeNinno creates large-scale, one of a kind prints that challenge the traditional boundaries of printmaking. Her practice emphasizes environmentally friendly and sustainable materials. She explores issues surrounding women’s rights and identity. 

Kristine is a true career creative, with a multidimensional professional practice spanning fine art, art education, interior design, and art consulting.
