Beginning/Intermediate Watercolor Workshop with NIna Muys

Sunday, September 13, 2026 from 11 A.m. to 3 P.M.

Discover the beauty and versatility of watercolor painting in this creative, relaxing class. Students will learn essential techniques - including color mixing, washes, layering, blending, brush control, transparency, light and texture - while creating a still life inspired by florals.

Designed for beginners and experienced artists alike, this class offers set-by-step instruction in a supportive environment that encourages creativity and personal expression. By the end of the class, students will have completed an original watercolor painting, developed confidence in their skill, and gained a strong foundation for continued growth.

Supplies: Students are to supply their own watercolors and preferable camel haired brushes in three sizes, medium, fine and small square.

Paper is supplied by the instructor.

Nina Muys is an experienced educator and a professional printmaker for more than 40 years. She is a founding member of the Washington Printmaker and has exhibited nationally and internationally and has won many awards.
