Kristine DeNinno: Four Exhibitions Including the Monumental Women of the DMV Showcase!
Washington Printmakers Gallery (WPG) is proud to celebrate Kristine DeNinno, an active member whose work is currently featured in four exhibitions across the regional testament to her creative momentum and growing recognition.
Most notably, DeNinno is included in the historic Women Artists of the DMV exhibition, curated by Florencio Lennox “Lenny” Campello. This multi-venue survey is the largest curated fine arts show in the United States, highlighting nearly 500 women artists from the Greater Washington area. You can see Deninno’s piece, Stitch & B*tch Magenta, 2025 (Linocut, Fiber Art) which was selected for the show, at Pyramid Atlantic Arts Center through 2 November, 2025.
In addition to this landmark exhibition, DeNinno has work on view in three other nearby venues:
Time after Time 1 (Right) included in LAYERS at Falls Church Arts (through 28 September)
She is included in POP! Impressions: The Bold Energy of Pop Art and the Craft of Printmaking at the Lancaster Art Vault (through 27 September), and
Fog, cited in Mark’ Jenkins’ review of the Then and Now: WPG 40th Anniversary Exhibition )on view through 28 September).
Deninno is not only a prolific artist—she is also a vital part of the WPG community, coordinating special events and contributing to membership outreach and exhibition planning Her dedication to both her practice and the gallery’s mission exemplifies the cooperative spirit that defines Washington Printmakers Gallery. We’re thrilled to see Kristine’s work gaining such wide exposure and invite you to visit these exhibitions to experience her dynamic contributions to the region’s visual arts landscape.

DeNinno’s mastery of aquatint allows for subtle tonal shifts that evoke the softness and ambiguity of fog itself.
